Our spirulina is grown on the vast expanse of the steppes of Inner Mongolia, China, well away from the hustle and bustle of the East Coast metropolises. Our spirulina is grown in water sourced from 300m under the ground, tested twice annually to ensure its purity.

Spirulina is a superfood, high in protein, vitamins and minerals and it is considered by NASA and the ESA one of the only suitable foods to be cultivated on long-distance space missions. Spirulina is a green algae which grows naturally in many parts of the world. After being harvested it is gently dried and made into a powder before it is exported to the UK where we lovingly package it for you.

The Spanish conquistadors discovered that the Aztecs and Mesoamericans of South America were using this superfood in everyday use in the 1600s. They liked to mix it with raw chocolate.

You can enjoy this superfood as part of a healthy, balanced diet in many ways; we like to mix ours with some raw kale, banana and some coconut water for an extra boost of energy in the morning.
